doing what doesn’t come natural.

This past spring my wife and I had a great time of fellowship with the Caleb & Jenny at their place in Minnesota. During our visit with them we had a conversation on our double date… simply said -it was awesome. Over good drinks, food, and atmosphere we discussed the challanges in doing things that do not come natural (specifically in marriage), but what I have learned since then is that this concept can be applied quite broadly into life – here is one example:

This past couple weeks I have been getting up early to read, journal, pray, reflect, etc… normally I do this at night when the house is quite – but I decided (I don’t know why) to try the morning thing.  It might have had something to do with my many random and impulsive descisions, but I have found it very rewarding… hard but rewarding – it seems that the boy’s decide now to start stiring at the same time – so it may become REALLY early, but you know what……?? It is worth what is gained….

Psalm 5:3

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning

I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
