adding to the [right] noise

I don’t know why but when I hear “adding to the noise” it leaves a negative connotation in my mind. It could be due to the two boys in my house that bleed noise (and as a parent I seek silence), or various songs that speak of noise as less than desirable…. however, when I think about this while looking at Psalm 19:1-3 or Rev 4:8 – adding to the noise should be something to be deemed as a great thing. Yes, adding to the wrong noise is something that is possible (and should be avoided).  Yet – what we do Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday mornings, Monday mornings, during family night, when we are alone, when we are at work, during ‘down time’….  should all add to the RIGHT noise.
