Boys are loud. Don’t believe me? I invite you to our house. So here is the scene: I am home for lunch and my wife and I are talking about a couple things, Levi (2 years) is banging on his drum EXTREMELY LOUD, and Roman is asking “DAD CAN YOU DO A SANTA BAG” for those not up-to-date with 4 year old culture:
Santa Bag is a Verb.
Defined: to enclose a 4 year old in a blanket, pick up the corners and swing them around the living room landing in various locations of the house.
Usage: “Dad can you use this blanket for a Santa bag?” or “Dad, can you do one more Santa bag?”
“Roman, not right now – Mommy and I are talking”
Dad: “Levi, please stop drumming for just a little bit, Mommy and I are trying to talk”.
There are much more important things than getting your way, (as a parent or child) even if it is as fun as hammering out the latest 2 year old version of a Rudiments or experiencing the thrill of a Santa Bag.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
