cheer for me?

If it isn’t obvious – one of my favorite things is to learn about God through my kids.

Recently I was struck by how profound a “YEA! [followed by a barrage of clapping and dancing and smiles and hugs]” is on my kids’ lives! There are times when I don’t WANT to do this… but in these times I realized that THOSE are the moments when they probably most need my cheer…

I am blessed enough to have my Heavenly Father, who doesn’t tire of this… who doesn’t get worn by extending grace (and if you’re a parent you’ll probably agree that you get WORN OUT by giving grace like God does…)

Kid’s perspective of God begins with how they perceive Mom and Dad…. the God I know cheers for me.
